For a twin tuner, you need something like the DM8000 or Vu+ Duo, with the Vu being cheaper. Can't get into the Cardshare on here but I understand there are many servers available from around £10 per Month. You can use a subscribed cards in the box with some basic configuration.

You are not going to get regular US networks in the UK, maybe some occasional NBC programming if you have a dish pointing at the right satellite. With a motorised dish, you can get a great deal of European programming.
