,It said on cnn not long back that the shock moved japan 2.5 meters,And the earth 10cm.

Was'nt sure about that statement.
But they have just said it again. They say that the main japanes island has moved 2.5 meters.and the earth 10cm on it's axis

They are saying that the Core in Reactor 2 is now totally exposed, so they are looking at a partial meltdown. If it gets to a full meltdown, then there is the risk of a breach in the primary containment vessel and exposed material. It's still a way off that worst case scenario fortunately. Now that they have pumped Sea Water into the reactors, they will never be used for Power generation again.

Thats it as far as the reactor is concerned. Its a write off and, to a large extent, so is the actual site. Thats going to end up costing them Billions to clean up !
