Im interested to know what folk think of Google maps and is it a realistic replacement for the stand a lone units?

Google offers more toys but the stand alone units work rock solidly where Google Maps does not always.

Im interested in your thoughts

ive used it many times on my htc desire and find it works fine, i like when you arrive to your destination it gives you a street view picture.

having used tom tom and garmin in the past and also nokia maps, i think google maps works good enough and will only improve.

but the main thing for me is having it all in one device rather than tucking away a stand alone unit in ur glove box or boot and only use it for one purpose.
