Default Virgin Media cable modem.

I'm not sure if this is the right section but please move it if it is.

Basically Before virgin Media we was with NTL/Telewest (before the change.)
We signed up then so the speeds wasn't as fast, this is around 6years we have been with them now. Max download speeds we get with Ethernet connection is 1mb and with wireless is around 350kbps downloads speed. (UPLOAD is ALOT worse)
Are we entitled to an upgrade to fibre optic?
Im just wondering where do we go from this? Whether we get some sort of upgrade.

Thanks in advance

I would give VM a ring mate. Tell them your not happy and are thinking about signing to another bb supplier, the customer retention team should be able to offer you a better deal or upgrade to stay with them.

Or you should be able to put your Post Code into the VM site and it should tell you if you can get a cable connection..

Im not sure if im on DSL or not just know that i havent had an upgrade since virgin media.

I will try and phone and see what happens.

Also putting my postcode into the VM box says i could have speeds up to 50mb.
And im trying to find out if im entitled to a new connection/ upgrade to faster speeds.
