what splitter is it? perhaps not enough juice to power both things.

the image looks ok but the specs for it are way out a splitter covering 5 - 1000mhz is whats normally used m8.

no thats alrite, recheck ur connections, maybe not enough juice but i doubt that.

Does it say 5-50000mhz on splitter as it does on the picture, if so it should be fine maybe his signal levels are too low to work both also recheck all the fittings make sure there is no braiding touching centre hard copper core causing a short and check all connections are at least finger tight.

I'll have a look later... If his signal level is too low, how can can it be boosted?
