Are you removing the cable feed from your subbed modem and using that on the 256's?

well it defo seems like a signal problem, i would cut out any splitters etc that might affect your feed and then test again, i had a problem at a m8's house the other day where his tv would work ok on both outputs of his splitter but his modem would not it turned out his splitter was faulty once changed all was good.

once u done the basic checks and ur sure u have got a good signal strength etc coming through and u still get no joy, then it might be worth asking if someones got a current working non-vol off a 256 they can send you to try.

also check on ur sub and make sure u set the right frequency for ur area.

This is unreleated to your signal problem but when you fix it you will encounter this

your stealth settings are wrong, you have AMBIT as the vendor but list a Motorola Surfboard as the modem. These are the correct settings for 256 stealth info but remember you want stealth settings for the modem you are cloning no the modem you have infront of you, so if you were trying to clone a webstsr on your 256 you would need webstar stealth not 256.

Vendor - AMBIT
Model - E08C007
SW Version - 2.94.1015
HW Version - 1.19
Bootloader - 3.1.6d
