Default NonVol File Size mismatch, received 32768 bytes, expected 65536 bytes

As you'll see by my posts ive spent almost a week trying to get these 256's online without any success, thanks to all who have replied to my post much appreciated, i was asked to try a new nonvol, and a very kind site member posted me a link to 1, i tried it, and got
NonVol File Size mismatch, received 32768 bytes, expected 65536 bytes

I take it there are different size nonvols out there, can anyone point me in the right direction for the 65536 bytes one, cheers folks

Hi,sorry mate i think i may have sent you the wrong one,I'll have a look on my other pc but as i have already said one from a 256 up and running in your own area would be far preferable.

I know webby's and moto's are interchangeable but i have my doubts with 256's because of having the SPI chip,I don't see too many Ambits round this end and I'm having trouble finding a NonVol from the few I've encountered but as mentioned somewhere maybe on a different forum you seem to have signal issues, try removing all splitters to eliminate probs there and check your cable runs/connectors.

well ive tried a non-vol off a 256 onto a 2100, and a 5101e and it worked, so it shud work the other way around, he says he has got 5 of them so i would just try it on one of them and see wot happens
