But surely it wouldn't be a true reflcetion of what the boxes are like.
For instance, I only have a Eurovox, therefore I can only vote on the Eurovox, because, as far as I am concerned, the Eurovox is the best box. However, you may only have a Starview, thus you can only vote on how the Starview works, because that may be the "best box" to you.The only people who could give a true relection of how the boxes are, ar people who have actually used all or at least 2 of the boxes in the poll, or people who are dealers who know about all the boxes. ![]() |

Well ive had all at one time or another each have their pro's and con's but it is really down to what you want to do with your box and how much your willing to spend. For starters you have the Digivox (new and improved starview) going for around £75 need i say more, 2 months and its paid for itself. Or for the same money you can buy a dreambox dm500c clone, a much more advanced unit and as its open source like the dbox2, it has more images and a lot of support for future updates. Dbox2 excellent box but older and relatvely expensive for a secondhand unit compared to the prices of the others. Eurovox max is a decent unit but has no 16:9 option but has a good reputation with regards to updates. There are a few more but personally out of all ive had id have to vote for the dreambox or the dbox2.

Hi
I do have a Nokia dbox and they seem to hold their price over the £100 mark where as the newer boxes can be picked up for under £100 new. Just wonder why Nokia dbox are holding their price. |

Doing lots of reading, the Dbox 2 are the best out of them all inc the Dreambox, as it can do more and I read although buggy it may do Teleport TV, now Virgin Central, I bought the Nokia version going by reviews.
