Default Splitter headache any help confusing me

i was fine with a 2 way splitter then was getting cut off, so i tried another 4 splitters , still no joy, works fine on the one to one i,m using, so thought maybe there all no good, so ordered a brand new unused one same problem it just will not connect

You aint using a satellite splitter instead of cable are you? The ones with power pass dont seem to work.

no m8 both cable ones, even original one stopped working, got a new one today just no signal

This may sound daft but you are putting the cable from the wall in2 the in bit of the splitter and not the out ports of the splitter, Just a m8 of mine done that and thats all it was!!

May even be the isolator that has become faulty.
