Anyone using legit VM BB had a call ?

They have phoned you so, as far as security is concerned, you have to be either the account holder or someone who can pick up their phone but, as the customer, you have absolutely no idea where the call has originated so why should you be expected to answer personal/confidential questions until 'they' have verified 'their' identity.

Some companies do now have mutual passwords (usually both picked by the customer) to verify identity to both parties (this is how my bank operates for instance). If they phone me they give me their password and then (if i'm satisfied with their password) I give them mine. If I phone them then vice-versa. Both parties now have great confidence they are talking to the correct persons.

thats quite a good idea the next time t-mob calls me im gonna give them a password too.
