First of all, I would like to clarify the country I am living in not UK but Guangzhou, China. I searched on the internet and only found the DS Frequency of UK and some from my company whose businesses are Cable Broadband and Cable TV.

However, I would like to use the way that Cableguy69 made to hack my SB5100E with my Cable Network. But what is the DS Frequency? I have lack of information since my company didn't tell me such a parameter.

Is there any help? How can I check? Is it a must?

does it not tell you on your subscribed modems web interface?

if you watch the modem connect with hyperterm it will show you all available freq's when it locks on.

when you plug modem in it will tell you give it a few mins to kick in though
