Default Well, it's kind of worked . . . . SV6 patch

I've installed the firmware off Bigmaq toolbar and done the following

Load firmware from usb
Factory reset
Fullscan then
1819 from any channel.

I do have SOME channels but oddly not FTV like ITV4 BUT do have SS 1 and currently watching the darts!

Is there anything I missed?

TIA

Susie

PS eternal thanks to the star in the sky who did the software!

May i ask what is probably going to be a simple question.

I have downloaded the file to my desktop, but i was expecting to see it as a winrar file, when i go to open it it says it can`t open this file and needs to go onto t`web to find the programme that created it,so,has it downloaded it properly or am i missing a file somewhere.

In fact whilst i`m at it,when it comes to flashing it onto my box it says use an usb cable,i have the good old r232,will that do it just as well??

Can anyone verify that I am using the right procedure for updating the new firmware.

  1. Load firmware on to USB stick
  2. Transfer Firmware to SV 7
  3. (Of the 3 options to save to which one do you save . ie DB – ROM or Key
  4. Do factory reset
  5. Do full scan
  6. Enter key numbers 1819
I have done all that. But I am getting the message IP error, what have I done wrong? Many thanks in advance
