Default Flashing Kryptview Box Twice

Iam getting a new kryptview and I wondered if you have to flash the box twice to get the latest firmware on the box because the latest firmware is not downloadable ?

Flash the box as normal and update the software via the menu
Type menu 0000
Installation
S/W Update

do this once your box is all connected to you tv/internet/cable feed

Job Done
