The best answer is you shouldn't !
You should really find somebody in an adjoining area who is willing to let you have a MAC that will work in your area. Then you passively scan and find some MAC's from your area to return the favour. Scanning for your own MAC's is the kind of thing idiots who have little or no understanding of the fundamentals try to do. Such stuff can cause loads of problems for VM and other customers. |

i gave up too, there was too many different guides and peoples opinions all over the place. too many people saying different things.
I got mac's from my area working when they were offline with the same stealth settings as a trial with no problems, but theres not much help out there for using macs from different areas with the new security. I never managed to get a mac from outside my UBR working at all, i always got a certificate of 392 bytes. It was interesting learning though, but just not really possible anymore for non-experts. |
