Default Starview 7 Connecting Issue

I'm a newbie to Starview 7, i'm setting it up for family, it was working fine until the server went down, freeview channels still work.

After reading this forum that a new server is up and running, I downloaded the software and installed it and searched for the channels.

All the channels are listed and the free ones are working, all the pay channels are scrambled and the bar just says connecting.
I have directley connected the ethernet cable into the router. How do I get the network side of it working so it can show the pay channels? it does show all the ip and things in the network menu. Do I need to adjust any other settings. I read somewhere about ustream or somethings but couldn't see no such options.

Thanks

If you have put the firmware on (the show must go on) put it on a pay channel say sports1 then type in 1819 should work

- Unrar
- copy the file to your usb pen
- install
- restart
- do a factory reset
- scan for channel in your area
- when channel scan complete
- go to a channel and type 1819
- wait a few minutes and connection should be established

Hi there,

Can I just ask what channels you are now getting? Is it all the 'Freeview' channels (i.e. not just FTA ones - that is, do you get Five US for example?)

Or do you even get the paid-for virgin ones?
