Right, I've just removed another page of crap from this thread. Unbelievable, given what Jimbo has posted right above.

The fact of the matter is, you've lost your free TV atleast for the time being. For now atleast no one knows if it's gone for good or not so there's no point asking every 5 mins.

The bickering ends now. Anything posted that isn't deemed to be sensible or constructive in some way gets binned and the poster infracted. End Of

Why can we not serve ourselves instead of relying on kv servers?
Forgive me if i am asking silly question.
Or is it a closely guarded secret how to do that.

Well, you could but you have to consider some different factors:
1. Money - big one
2. Technical know how
3. Sharing with strangers on the internet ie: if it cost say £95/month for the service and £5/month to run a server, then if you found 19(+1 for yourself) people you can get it down to a fiver or so, but there's a risk when sharing online(using £100/month as an example, as easy to calculate)
4. What if the server gets raided(though tbf, if you're not really a pay server, then this shouldn't be as big an issue)

Then you'd have lots of servers set up as well, dotted across the country, set up by different people with different motives. Some may just want to reshare relatively legitimately, some may want to make a profit and some may have some ulterior motives(though tbf the last one was probably scaremongering and it's normally the second option)

Well i would be up for that. These forums used to be about sharing. Not so much now.maybe thats cause of a few scabs about. Just the tech bit i maybe would need a hand doing.
