Default OSX on a PC

I have OSX running on my standard desktop, i have it on a spare hard drive which i can boot from, still have XP on my main hard drive. It took a little working to do, you need a USB mouse and keyboard to load in the PS/2 drivers, but its all working fine now

No but i have them both on seperate hard drives, but i did have to disconnect my MAC one when installing XP, as it wanted to add boot files to it. I know that if you install MAC first, there is something called Boot Camp which means you can install XP afterwards

Attached is a screenshot of my "mac" lol, it says i have a 3GHz AMD, but its a 3000+ chip

As far as im aware this will work, but with it not actually being a mac im not 100% on it. I would say the easier option would be to have an old pc or a small hard drive (at least 10GB) and install MAC on that

Hi Nathan yes that sounds good, going to need 1GB Ram and a 1/2 decent GPU for the Vista 1/2.

Hi leythdave

In a word yes there would be clashes, and only quite recently has it been possible to run Mac OSX on PC hardware via an emulator, Windows on a Mac Yes - easy !, but for what you want to do you need to do some research first, so a good place to start is > Here, please let us know how the project works out if you decide to go ahead.
