Default wi fi sv7

i have put 2 homeplugs, on my router and sv7.this sorted out, the ethernet part of it. but is there a way of wi fi ing my broadband from my incoming vermin cable, to my sv7. i dont want to have a cable running from the splitter in one room. and the sv7 in the other. thanks tom.

there is a way but it costs a few quid

im not 100% sure what they called but ive seen them.

its plugs..

1 plug goes in mains and has a eathenet port so for example.

1 plug x 1 eathenet cable and router

then the other into other room in mains and into box !

i have done that. that cures the ethernet part of the job. but it dont cure the problem, of having a cable running round my flat, from the broadband splitter( in bedroom) and my sv7 in living room.

they are called vonets wifi bridge or open media ..they are on flebay for 21.99 does the job fine!

No, the cable feed carrying the TV signal does need to be connected to the SV7. Your only option would be to put the SV7 in the other room (near where the cable comes in) then use a video-sender to send the picture wirelessly to the TV.
