Eurovox Blue Feb Firmware - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

hi,
i have had a eurovox max for 3-4 months now, running on the august 06 firmware, i have backed up my cdf regurlarly and have found everything to be fine, however i have just discovered the feb 07 blue firmware and im considering updating, i assume i just flash with the new firmware and re-upload my latest cdf file, then all my chanels should reappear ( i have spent considerable time arranging these into a logical order) without having to powerscan. also just how much difference is there in the new firmware/epg? i find the aug 06 epg ok but maybe a little too compact to read clearly.

Hi, i updated and found it to be more user friendly as far as the epg goes. but its totaly up to your personal preference. try it! if you dont like it you can always go back! dont worry about the cdf, if you have it saved you will not loose anything!

hi all im new to this. eurovox max 3 flashing black screen every 25 secs to a min, driving me insane. any ideas? has anyone got the new feb update and please could they send it me if they dont mind

ok,
succesfully updated to the new firmware and reloaded cdf file i see the improvement in the epg, so il stick to the new firmware!!
