There is S-ware available for the Cable side, it's not offering free access.
However if you know someone with Cable CS you'll be fine.

Not the answer most would like to hear, but maybe a temp fix for some.

I though one of the problems with the combo was that no one had access to the software for it.
If I'm able to pay a small monthly fee to get my HD combo working, I really don't mind, just as long as I don't have to pay VM.
