Would it be possible for threads to expire after a certain time? I've seen that a lot of the time threads are left open, and are abused by spammers(most likely bots)
Then, you do get something like this as well: What's your startpage? - where there was about 5 years difference since the last post

The spammers would just pick any other thread at random m8, and it's not that often the old threads get dragged up again, sometimes it's perfectly relevant too.

Odd.That this should come up.I was thinking myself today. That some very old threads are getting dug up lately. Not that I object to that.If the replys are relevent no problem.
What I was thinking was,A lot of my early replys I would rather forget about. .They are cring making to say the least. Not that I do not make some daft and silly replys these days, but hopefully not as many. ![]() Ho for the days when after some silly replys the night before. You could get up early next morning and edit the daft bits out, before most people saw them.

Yes, I suppose that's true but technology does move very very fast lol. Also, it's annoying that threads that are not too relevant are being popped up after a number of years

true, but older technology is still in use to this day, i must agree with the not too relevant threads but only a human can make a decision weather relevant or not. and whats relevant to one person maybe not to another.
