Well lads and lassies, if and only these kv boxs are back up and going again, im 100% sure they will be maybe it will be a good ideal to keep the chat about them to a minimun, yes have a shout round your front room, whistle scream, even give the wife a long kiss, but as for chatting about it on the forum it would be more wiser not to, unlike when they went off, 156,904 views, 389 replies, a lot of vm persons are prob watching everything that we put in this forum and all others that deal with the digi boxs,,, just for a chage instead of filling up the space on this forum with the thks to the kv team, why not give a small donation to the forum instead, im sure that would be thks enuf,,,,,, ???? lets all hope
and if you agree with this maybe if you are on a dif forum, give the same kind of message, the less outsider has the better

oh wait we can't because when we do talk tripe we get threatened with infractions and bans.. the way i see it if they come on here and see nothing of use just a load of speculations and no truths (maybe the odd truth here and there) they would have to sift through all the tripe to try find the needle in the haystack, which forum do you reckon VM would be more interested in? forum A with very little posts straight to the point on what's going down and how to get back on, or forum B who has the same information but hidden in a load of tripe ready to be found by people who are willing to look instead of wanting it to them on a silver platter..... ![]() i know which one they would choose........its called human nature, take the easy path ![]() takes the heat from TW and misdirects VM elsewhere

some people seem to think VM are in the dark surrounding all this and need to get their info from public forums, well i can tell you that is absolute bollox they are fully aware of what this is all about and how it all works they dont need most of the pointless input they read on forums.

Nobody knows if this have anything to do with VM, the KV team were confident this box would be the holy grail of Nagra 3 and i don't think VM would take it lying down after spending Millions on this rollout they would have planned for this in the event that their new system would be hacked and could at least implement changes to their codes. That does not mean there will not be upgrades to the code. There will always be that. The real question is , will your current FTA unit handle the upgraded code? The reason we have to wait is because VM will adjust the ECMS so that it takes longer to hack, now if this was the case do you really think the KV team would be shouting about it??? no.......why you ask???? because how long is a piece of string? nobody knows how long it would take to circumvent the latest updated code but i know its not an over night jobby, so if the KV told it as it is that would mean 90% of KV owners would write their boxes off straight away, this way by keeping quiet and working on a fix it keeps people hanging on and hoping and not cutting an running by binning their useless box that may well take years to update.

tbh, I doubt any more tripe could be added - 99% of the stuff on here regarding cable is that way anyway. If VM really do read these forums the most they go away with is a damn good laugh !

hi peeps got this of another forum I have heard from a fairly good source, that the main man has been released without charge, and that it was a member of the public that grassed, thats why he was arrested. He had in his possesion a load of kv's. But as they are fully legal as an fta box, they had nothing on him so had to let him go. As a precaution they had to knock off the server, and i have been assured that it has a very good chance of being back online within the week. They are just letting the dust settle, and rightly so. They have also gone a little further underground, to try to make sure it doesn't happen again. My source is fairly reliable guys..... it's never 100% as you all know, but thought i'd post a little good news intead of all the negative. Hope this has given some of you guys a little hope..... KEEP THE FAITH hope it helps
