I don't think there's any need to make it a sticky because it mainly consisted of the same things being repeated over and over or members being abusive to each other (hence why it was closed).

Also do not see the point in starting a new thread entitled the same!

Until there is any further solid information maybe we should all refrain from starting pointless threads and cluttering up the board.

thats exactly why it should be sticky

1 admin cleaned the thread up of abuse and tripe, and left the core bits in that explained what may have happened, then closed

2 there will soon be so many new threads started that the all channels down thread will soon disappear into the bottom of the forum because of a lot of repeat starting threads of the same questions that were answered in the original infamous thread

thats why..

I think everyone knows the jist of whats happened by now (without the 80 odd pages and whatever was also removed).

If not then its easy just to have a read around and the search function also comes in handy at times?

By starting this new thread your just pushing the other threads with the information already there further down the board.

common Scarlett , yes we all know the jist, but what about the many who have only just registered and come across the forum for information because their box has gone down???

some people would rather create a new post that go searching round the forums, like i said before its human nature to do it the easy way they would rather you do the searching for them.

the reason for me posting this thread it to try get another thread which has all the information needed to be made sticky for all to see, please tell me if there is anything in that infamous thread which has not been reposted as either a new post or a new thread, i'm only trying to suggest we put things in plain view for people to see.

Better off to just highlight this which gives the most recent information.

yes it would be but its one piece of information which we don't know if true or not, again in the all channels down thread this particular scenario also came up.

we can't just play favourites of which theory seems sound, for all we know we could be way out, at least there are a few strong theories on the ACD thread which obviously people can decide for themselves which is true or not.

until we of course get definitive proof from the horses mouth.

I don't really see the point of discussing loads of different conspiracy theories? Personally I know which posts by certain members I take an interest in and I know which ones I just gloss over (usually the ones who clog up 10 pages with the same pointless 3 word posts).

My point is that for us who have been following the whole scenario then we know whats going on (or maybe we don't know "from the horses mouth" but we choose to decide what information to believe).

I don't have any secret sources, nor am I capable of predicting these catastrophic events like so many.

But I simply choose which information to take a note of, as more often than not the provider of the information has been reliable previously.

you mean like maudsley and jambutty who did give quite a reliable date as to when these boxes would go off

tbh the people who we know have been extremely reliable in the past and we have an inkling do know the person or persons involved, who were more than happy in the past to give us all the correct reliable information when it was convenient for them have suddenly gone quiet, so until like we say we have definitive proof from the horses mouth about what the future of the KV box will be only then can we know what is right, all rumours and speculations are peoples thoughts and honest opinions which with all the will in the world are not cold hard facts

Very true, which is why there is no need to create another thread full of rumour and speculation.

Lets wait for the cold hard facts.
