sb5100i power flashing light

i was wondering if any1 had any idea how to get my modem working again, i don't know much about modems so i will try to explain what the problem is to the best of my knowledge, i have a sb5100i modded modem that used to work until i couldnt find a mac that worked so i stopped using it and went back to my paid modem, i havent used it in about 4month but i decided i would hook it up to see it was still working but when i powered it up what i got was all lights were solid apart from the top light (power) keeps on flashing, so i tried going in to the config screen by typin 192.168.100.1 to try and change the mac but when i type that in i just get internet explorer cannot display webpage, so if there is anyone who can point me in the right direction to get this back up and running it would be greatly appreciated.

What fw is on it ????? try 192.168.100.1:1337

i have tried 192.168.100.1, 192.168.100.1:666, and 192.168.100.1:1337 to no avail, as for the firmware i think it is sigma-x version

has the modem done an update and locked you out ??? You may need 2 reflash it, And if you can get in 2 change the mac you need docsis 1.0 macs, you may get 10m but not so much a 20m but if you get a 10m mac then your lucky than some, and change the stealth settings..

i have no idea if it has been updated or not, i think i will look in to re flashing it but as im a noob when it comes to this i will no doubt mess it up, how do i know if themacs are docsis 1.0 and not 1.1?, anyways thanks for ur help its greatly appreciated.

have you connected to the modem without the cable being screwed in ,, on 192.168.100.1 then change your mac to a working mac it should all come back up
