My question is that when we are all switched back on, VM will notice the change in usage. You know how many packets of Data down the pipe and through the Modem.
So will we have to be more careful due to usage or will all need to swap our IP address or change our providers? |

your stressing for no reason... Nothing is going to happen to you. If and when the servers are switched on you cross that bridge then. Until then is no point worrying as am sure when the servers are switched on... they wont start chasing you and instead would be more interested on where the servers / uploaders are based. VM dont care about the small fishes in the pond and are mainly concerned with the sharks.. i.e the BIG BOYS. Highly doubt they will start to knock on your door... Otherwise everyone would be arrested by now and fined.

Thanks Undkat for your concern, but I just wanted to get the question out there, for when we do get the switched on. The question has already been answered in this thread. Cheers.

Be surprised if they ever come back, who could sustain a server making no money, so i would not worry about what you have to do as soon as it come back, i also hear that the new hd box coming out they have changed the name of it as well, so it will be new servers and more money.

As long as CS is the only option then that will always be the pattern. It doesn't really matter whether its a big operator or a small operator, chances are the server will be up for less than a year. There's no use complaining about it. You go into these things with your eyes wide open knowing that its a temporary solution at best. If you take such chances then you may be a winner but you also might end up as a loser so why not see things for what they are - just another gamble !
