Ebay removing all NTL boxes. - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Ebay have decided in their wisdom or presure from Virgin to remove all NTL cable boxes from their site. Especially the Samsung and some of the old Pace. Shame.

Have to find a way to let sellers of these items know their are buyers out their for their product. I hear Ebay leave certain products on all depends on the wording you use.

Not to worry Paul, plenty of other links to get hold of boxes,

but ebay is the best source for boxes and with good prices.

i noticed that i was watching a few after typing chipped ntl i got someone selling a pace box but now its no where to be seen! its no longer on my watching list or anything.

I've just put a chipped box on ebay, a DI4001N. It has a programmed funcard with the NTL A/U file on it, no cables or remote - I tried a remote off a D1000 but it didn't work. Can you re-program the remotes for different receivers?

Anyway, £40 (including std UK delivery) will get it if you're interested

Would of been interested mate, But im going all the way now im going to order a normal box off ebay and try and modify it my self see what happends, god bless all that info on gmail, thanks everyone.

I have managed to find some NEW Samsung SMT-2100c NTL boxes with NTL card. Never been opened plus new Remote Scart and mains Lead. They are all unchipped. Â£70 P&P. If interested please PM.

You can chip them using the tut off gmail but you will need some other hardware like a JTAG and programmer to read the IRD and BK off the box and to program your card.
