Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone on this forum for the help they are giving, i started looking at this forum about a week ago and ive read thru it ive been on gmail got software and i have got the hardware recommended, and now after about an hour of messing about with 'infinity usb programmer' and using fun card 4 i have managed to figure it all out, and it works. thankyou very much all the information.

i have just one question i read that the cable company sometimes sends something to scramble frequency or something and the card blows or just stops working. will the same program off gmail, 'au funcard tut and files by c***lie se**tor' with the hex files still work if i reprogram a card with them same hex files?

You will need a new flash file if cards go off, everything is done in the same way as the gmail tutorial, just the flash files will change, will need the latest flash file to update card.

will the new flash be posted on gmail? if not how do you go about one of them?

Hopefully the first person to get it will put it on gmail, if not you will just have to just wait patiently until someone uploads it to gmail.

It may be restricated to members though, you need to be part of the cable community, by helping others out too.
