Question can it be detected

hello do i need to have my ntl /virgin box up and running at the same time as my eurovox as ive heard they send a hit to find out if youve got a eurovox running and do i need to have the ntl card in my eurovox at all times ive just got a 4 way adapter but not sure if i need it ty

yes you should keep your subbed box connected as it talks back to nthell/v1rgin and they will get sus if its not.They dont send no "hit out" and cant detect the boxes
the eurobox dosnt need any type of card and you only need a two way splitter unless youve got broadband the youll need a 3 way.

At least a 3 way splitter, you will need to watch your signal strength as the more splits you introduce, the lower the signal.
