Default Dongle Router Help

I have been reading that you can get channels on kvs with a dongle router, I don't have broad band so thats why I sold my KV, but if I can use a dongle, then what do I need to get.
I read that the down side is having laptop on all the time, but my tower pc has a port for a cross over cable, I think someone mentioned you have to use a cross over cable.
Any one clued up on this and offer me advice.
Jam

Nothing to do with them going off...
And you thinking they would NEVER come back on....

A 3G router will accept a USB mobile broadband dongle and distribute to several devices. That way, you can connect several devices, all being dependent on the router for internet and not each other.

yep as above 3g router is best option means you dont need laptop or pc on when using KV m8. Take into consideration that mobile BB although improving all the time is susceptible to a lot more network latency problems.

you dont need a crossover, you can use a normal straight RJ45
