I reflashed with the january update and it worked for me. Previously I had tried the factory reset, rescan and sotware update several times but none of them made a difference.

Have a look at the system information in the kryptview menu. If it is dated before the 3/1/2011 then I would update. The software version i've got is kryptview a750 pv3.7.00

fair enough abracadabra. it is your call.

The only reason I started following these threads were because my box went down with all the channels leaving only the FTA ones. So when people started saying that they were getting the channels back but I weren't getting any I read some other posts which said I needed a software update but no-one had given any links(for obvious reasons now) or said what I should be looking for.

So when I managed to get it working after a bit of googling, and seeing other forum users being in the same boat as I was, I registered specifically to try and help other users.

That is why I have not got many posts. Secondly, about bricking the box, it basically is a brick if you only get FTA channels on it.
