do a factory reset plug feed into output connection go through the scan set up again this should fix the problem reason this works is,basically its a splitter, the output attenuates the signal. High signal causes the break up and freezing on certain transponders

If so , when did you get the box ? If so , make sure all leads are correct . Do a factory re set and then search using correct area. |

OK here's one to think over. I've been having problems with my internet connection over the last 4 or 5 days & eventually called VM to discuss. After several hours on the phone I eventually discovered from them that their modem/routers have had a S/W update applied over the last few days (you wouldn't know cos they just do it!). Result of this update is that they've discovered there's a prob with the S/W firewall on the router (it doesn't work!!). This is creating downloading problems which they are currently addressing (with ANOTHER update due in the next couple of days - don't know if this will work any better mind you!). I have the latest modem/router for a 50Mb link but I'm not sure how many other's are affected. This may be another glitch causing probs (VM web site also notes a Portal Service problem which they're addressing with a probable fix by tomorrow). They only say this is affecting login to their ebill sites, etc but I know that there are other, external, sites being affected. Point is there appear to be a number of factors affecting many aspects of the internet so patience is definitely a virtue. Breath deep, exhale slowly & have a beer!!

It should have worked without re scan or any new firmware . RE SCAN FOR CHANNELS AND MAKE SURE YOU DON'T SEARCH IN SAT MODE. |
