I kave the 780 box, not updated it since i got it about 6 months ago (09/09/2010). When all went down i unplugged it. I saw on the forum some channels are back yesterday and i plugged it back in. It still only picks up channels 1 to 5. I did a factory reset and added the channel lista again but no luck. Can anyone advise please. Thanks

Leave it on SS1 for about 5 or 10mins. It should work. Otherwise, factory reset and rescan.

Otherwise do a software update. Or it could more likely be that your just not getting a slot on the server as there is a limited number of people allowed to join at this moment. (still testing)

This question has been asked a thousand times in the last few days.

i done factory reset and left the software update on all night and seemed to do nothing it just stayed on the same screen that says software updating

The kv guys are still working on them, if your box worked before then it will be ok, just have to wait and give them time to get them all up and working again.

dont have to do the software update just factory reset then scan again

Some of the older firmware does need to be updated to the 03012011, or they will be left one to five only, if you have the channels everyone should have them.
