Default watching tv on a pc

Hi all, first post in yonks so go gentle :_)
Since the demise of my Eurovox box with the introduction of N3 i havnt really bothered checking out the state of play.
Looking around i have discovered Kryptview etc that do a similar job to the Eurovox albeit via servers/card sharing.
Question is, is there anything similar that runs on a pc via a DVB-C card or similar?
Its for my spare room thats been converted into a games/gym room, would be nice to have a feed in there (i already have the pc in there with a 22" monitor and v*rgin bb) but could do without having to have an extra tuner box stuck next to the pc.

If not, the pc monitor has hdmi and scart input so i COULD resort to a star/kryp box but dont really want to unless its the only option.

If its any help, i could also run a single satellite feed from a S*y dish if its possible to do the above but with a S*k feed.

Thanks, Sharpcroft

you can do it with sly but it wont be free as you will be liable to pay a sub to the guys who own a server. There is plenty of DVB S cards around.. One I used was the WIN nova S + card from hauppage I believe that's how it is spelt, worked a charm.

You will need a run a another cable from the dish and into the sat card in order for this too work.
