ipad bbc iplayer

Hey does anyone know if you can get the red button bbc1 service on the ipad iplayer utility? struggling to find it.. basically I want to watch the live snooker on the ipad but flash isn't installed obviously.. don't really want to jail brake it if possible

hi,, i know the iplayer works on it as it works on mine not sure about the red button stuff tho. isnt that nteractive?

I may be wrong here, but I was under the impression that the BBC iPlayer is Flash driven, and therefore will not normally play on an iPad.

However, there is an app called Skyfire which is supposed to be Flash enabled and therefore able to get around this:
Skyfire - Mobile Browser for Android, iPhone, and iPad

Not sure if it still works, but may be worth a try.

iplayer is flash driven but works on ipad still(without using skyfire)
dunno about the red button thing tho i dont think it can work on ipad as it wont on mine either.

My bad, you're right - you can play BBC iPlayer fine on an iPad. Looks like Quicktime takes the slack here.

Had some problems with BBC video embedded in news not working previously, but I wonder now if they were just normal Flash.
