I have a dell latitude laptop c800 and have changed the hard drive for a larger one and put in another 256 memory.Question is would it be worth changing the micro processor? would this make it any faster and how easy would it be?

How much would the micro processor cost? Would it cost more than a new laptop? Would you be satisfied with the performance if you did, or would you just want to upgrade something else again in the near future? After making the upgrades you already have, it's almost like you have a new computer already. LOL

It all depends on the actual processor and the future processor.IF you think you will get better performance then you can go ahead.
