Default Switching broadband provider

Hi, I am pretty sure I have seen the answer to this already in the forum but would I be correct in thinking that I can switch to any any broadband provider? I am currently with v.m. and want to downgrade my package and am thinking of switching to talk talk.

I believe that Tesco mobile are currently the cheapest for BB+phone £19.40/month), and free 4 months BB with code:TBB4M

VM will beg you to stay(pretty much), but you can make something up like I'm fed up with the service etc... etc... etc... With my mobile contract, I managed to get an awesome contract because I told them I want to leave(because I saw a cheaper price plan elsewhere)

Tesco's sim card's piggy back on to the O2 network, and if their BB also piggyback's on to the O2 network, then you've got a reliable service
