UPDATE

I just received a cheque for £908 from capital one this morning, got one for £219 from santander 2 weeks ago, just waiting on halifax Downloaded claim form from from martin lewis's money expert site, looks daunting but far from it. If you dont remember something say so. At the end of the form tell them you thought you had to have the insurance, to get the credit card or loan, or were unclear what cover you had. DONT USE THE LAWYER COMPANIES TO DO IT FOR YOU, THEY TAKE 40% OR SO FROM YOUR REFUND.

yeah... what wasp11 just said... don't use them 'no win no fee' companies.. they take 30-40% for doing something anybody can do themselves.

go to martin lewis website.. they have templates that u can use to claim back past PPI payment.

i've just been refunded £600 on my credit card with 8% interest on top.. i didn't filed off any claim form.. i merely called up my credit card company and said i was mis-sold PPI.. they said they will look into it. a week later they wrote back admitting PPI was mis-sold to me.

good luck.
