Thats because VM always transmit their time signal as GMT, regardless of summer time etc. They leave it up to the local stb to fathom whether it should add/subtract from the reference time.

Now, because the KV firmware is likely derived from a generic firmware that is used on many boxes all over the world there's no function to automatically handle the UK spring/autumn hour time jump so instead, when you set the box up, you are expected to manually set the 'BST' option. When you do a reset this obviously gets cleared and you end up having to set 'BST' mode again manually.

Pain in the bum maybe but you only have to do it twice a year !
