I am thinking of buying a Dreambox HD800 to use it as a PVR, but a bit confused on the differences in prices??, can someone advise me the best place to buy one in the uk or is their an alternative to the HD 800 that you can recommend??

A clone is about £150, a genuine is about £800, a good alternative is a Vu+ Duo an excellent stb at about £350!

Genuine DM800 HD receivers are not about £800, they are about £400.

TBH, I would recommend a Vu+ Duo over a genuine DM800 - and not just because I sell them.

The twin tuner is a major bonus, otherwise, the firmware is very similar.

U can get a clone Dm800 HD for like 140quid with the REV M tuner.

Picked mine up for 140 quid with a Alp's Tuner
