If having problems with your box, here is the official un-patched firmware to load with RS232 Null-Modem cable, then you can try the patch again.

I would say flashing problems, i suggest people update to the April firmware now as the Jan one is been switched off, you cant update via remote if you have 2010 firmware on your box, you will first have to flash the Jan file on with null modem and then update the April file via your remote control.

BUT if v got april softwear already in our box due v need to update againg with jan n april....

No once you have the April file on your box your fine, its only if you have the Jan file on, that is going to be cut off today.

You may want to use Official firmware if your box hangs on updating firmware online, as has been reported on some posts. Then do a reset and then load the Jan Firmware with RS232, then you can try the online update again.

You may also want to use the Official firmware if returning the box to a supplier that would not accept a flashed box.

this link does not seem to work, is there another link with the new software? Also all channels gone, I take it this is because as clio said above we need to flash the box again with new software, is this right? I have had channels yesterday but none today, is this because my box needs the new software on it? Also when I download this new software I take it I follow the steps on how to flash the box on a previous post on this section, thanks.

No point trying to do an online update at the present time, server is down and that is prob why the boxes are hanging, i also suggest people connect box direct to modem to update the firmware when server is back up.

One more question Clio, as I have never flashed /firmware the box since I got it, do I need to put some new software on it or do I just do an update from the menu on the box?
