The info including on the sellers site I use does state that the DBox2 needs a good strong signal, so ideally do not cancel your cable package and then try to watch FREE TV, the signal strength will be reduced, not sure if this is the case if you also have Cable Broadband from them though., added to fact your legit box is needed for feedback/talkback to isp.

You may simply just have to many things on the feed, you cant even add too many legit boxes, broadband, FM Hook Up's, when you say you all have boxes, how many is that in total and does that inc a legit box still alone and cable broadband also?.

i have the telewest box currently in my room, because my dbox is broken, the telewest box works fine.

each box in the house is run off its own wire to the wall.

downstairs there is a telewest box for cable tv and internet
and also in each of the rooms.

the internet is only used in my room (attik)

and my room runs thru the internet wire, it works fine on my old dbox like i said, never crashed once, never flickerd, clicked or w.e.

untill i so called ''blew the tuner''..

my box and my uncles box, r running through telewest lines in the upstairs of the house, and both of our rooms need the ''Weak feed'' image or code or w.e it is, on the dbox's..

like i stated i can plug my uncles in my room.. and it works like a dream!

hope this helps..

Hmm, it dont matter if on own wires you only have 1 main cable from street to home and it only supports so many devices, then they need to bring in a 2nd line from street, If you say it worked before I guess your not over the limit.
Its very hard to say from where we stand here, but it still sounds like the Dbox's upstairs are getting a weak signal that the legit box can work with, I dont know if you have laid out the proper high quality Sat/Cable Coax or just run of the mill unshielded tv arial coax, and again how many devices in total are connected to the ISP ?.

My first dbox worked like a dream.. untill the dbox tuner broken,
i bought a new dbox.. and it duznt work in my room or my brothers..

like i said me and my brother had to so called get a ''weak feed image'' put onto ours..

Hmm, try running one in your room while all others are unpowered from mains, so as to prove if its the cable to your room that has a issue.

All d-boxes are slightly different with the signal levels they require - try moving the boxes around until you find a combination that works best - or try the Argos AMP mentioned above.
