Default New to Kryptview...

Hi im new to Kryptview and wanted a few questions anwsering. I recently found out about these boxes and was wondering if I could view the sky sports channels on it for free?

The current situation at our house is that we are with virgin media and have a 'V+' underneath the TV. Next to this V+ box we have a virgin superhub which means that there is no need for a router. The question that I was wondering is would it be easy for me to set up one of these boxes on my own to view sky sports and would virgin be able to find out that I was using one? Also could anyone explain to me exactly how I would set the Kryptview up with my current setup?

Regard, pvfc.

Welcome to Techwatch pvfc,

I wouldn't go buying a KV at the moment.

Have a read through the most recent threads on here.

True he might, if everything resorts back to normal. But we were all aware we were taking a chance a year ago when the service was working perfectly so it was worth it.

Don't think its worth taking that chance at the moment.

Sit tight and if everything goes back to normal then its worth paying the usual price for. Better than buying one cheap in the hope it might return?

To be honest I hope they do bring out the new HD, lets put this issues to bed... once and for all, lets be frank kv Team have provide a service and to be fair the moneys run out to support the servers. Friends let put our hands in our pockets or in my case the wifes handbag and spend little money

If the KV was a horse, a year ago the odds were 9/52 on [ get a box that works for 52 weeks for the price of 9 weeks value of full Vir&in subs ]. The current odds are 50/50 on it even working at all - and pie~in~the~sky odds on it continuing to function for the next 52 weeks.

My bet was a winner 9 weeks after Easter last year, everything else is a continuing beautiful bonus, including the fact that I'm watching ESPN as I type this missive.
