Default factory reset problems

I have flashed box with new software and have done a factory reset but when i try this it asks for area id then put the correct id and the box scans through different 40 frequencies then it displays allready exists and keeps displaying this and when i try to come out of the factory reset it wont allow me to so i have turned it off from the wall any help please

Just leave it scanning its meant to do that.

Just trying it again and it says 40 frequencies found and now it says 2 allready exist then 3 then etc is that normal and how long should it take?

Yes that is normal, it will take as long as it does till its finished, get a cup of tea,or coffee and relax till its finished.

thanks for your advice it was spot on but i noticed i lost the s/w update off the menu, is that normal?

turn it off by the power switch give it 5 sec then bk on see if its bk

go to user preference then delete all channels when thats done press menu and do a factory default then fresh scan u not cleaned all the old sotware out if it says aready exsist

check the date of your s/w see if its the new one did u get places instead of allready exsist
