Default Help - A780 stuck in "searching new update..."

Can someone please help with this problem -

I went to update my A780 via the remote and it is now stuck on the "searching new update..." screen.

I have tried switching the box on and off from the rear but it comes back to the same screen when you switch it back on and there is no response from the remote.

HELP !!!

OK....just got it going.....Removed bridge and ran a cable from the box to the internet connection and restarted the box and it started to download.

Fingers crossed, all should be ok now.

Wierd though as the bridge connection to the internet was fine.

Is you box connected via a directly wired Ethernet cable from your modem / router ?

- if not - do so - and try again !

EDIT - While I answered the phone, you clicked you had a crap connection

Some are not good enough to take a download i think its down to the way they are configured, direct cable to modem is best.
