Default Please select operating system

Hi all, just got a cheep base unit thats not been used for years seems like, litlle problem with it, when you start it up it says,
Please select operating system
start windows pro
windows xp2003

after a few 20 secs or so it starts up as per normal and works with the xp pro great, but wanted to get rid of this little spoiler at the start about which operating system, if there is a easy way,please can you put it plain english cus as were getting on in years, its harder for us to understand the lingo from the young ones, cheers all

start the Run program
in the open box type msconfig and then click OK
in the box that opens click on the Boot Tab
this will display all the Boot operating systems
here you can set the default and timeout (you can even remove any entries etc.
