Default older reciever, SR 1902 VC, need info

about 3 years ago i bought a Satellite box and dish kit from the Lidl supermarket, it's a SR 1902 VC (T29 remote), with a big white metal 90cm dish
ive never used it, i plugged it in and had a quick look at the menu and stuff but thats all, its been lying around the house.
i was just wondering if anyone has got one of these?, and have you got any info about it?, is it any good? ,im not sure if its analog or digital?, and what i can pick up with it?,
its got lots of pre programmed channels, but they all look european
has anyone got any info, im thinking of setting it up, but i need to know if i can get many uk/us channels
please help, thanks

it's very confusing, some say analog some say digital, i hope its digital
but the only way to find out is try it, i suppose.
i'm quite new to satellite, iv'e never used one properly myself,
im gonna set the box up this week, if the weather is good,
so if its digital whats the best way to definatly tell,
whats the best satellite for me to point to and what channels are defenalty digital, and what analog, could you give me a few pointers in the right direction., ill try and get a few photo's of the kit to so we can see what its all about a bit more. , nice forum this techwatch, some really good info here.
