Give the group a bit of info to work with my friend

- what ' unscrambled channels ' .. .. FTA only .. ..or all channels are unscrambled ?
- what software date is showing on your box ?
- are you ' hard wired ' [ Ethernet Cable ] between your router and your KV ?
- does you puter work ok and gets on the net ok ?
- the KV doesn't have an IP address that is relevant if its hard wired !

i think ur box needs updated to the 24/4/2011 software m8 , which can only be done thru ur box and remote
MENU-INSTALLATION-PIN0000 then S/W update

Mick

If his box isn't recognised on the network, he's not going to be able to update it.
canamalar, do you know how to manually assign an IP address to your device MAC address via your router setup page, usually accessed by entering http://192.168.0.1 into your browser address bar?

reiss,
when you say device MAC address, do you mean the box or the router, as there is no box MAC address identified on the network. The only device identified is the PC

You will need the MAC address of your Kryptview box.

try logging iinto your router via a browser by typing http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar and enter your username and password, I think the default for Netgear is 'admin' / 'password'
Once you've logged in, click on Lan IP setup in the left column and make sure ' Use Router as DHCP Server' is ticked.
You can also add your kryptview's MAC address into this section and assign it a permanent IP address. eg 192.168.0.20 or whatever IP isn't assigned to another device.
Good luck
