Hi yes me again,just got a pc, never been on the net, installed ethernet pci card fine all working, now heres the prob,,,,, want to download avg and a few other things but when i go to down load, it says down load to cd ?????? as generaly it just runs and instals on my other pc,,does anybody know how to change the setting for downloading, cheers, plain english plz as im a thicko unless you give me a lgv wagon to drive, cheers all

when you click on save it should open a windows explorer box
where it says Save in click on the little down arrow on the right of the address bar and from the options that open select where you want to save the file Last edited by smoggy; 10-05-11 at 02:53 PM. Reason: picture added |

yes thats correct, but there on the right of the address bar, theres no arrow to save to, or as normal just click and run,, but it just save save to cd and you cant unclick it ??

maybe something to do with your Internet browser settings
what happens if you open a notepad and click on file/Save As.. does this give the option to save where you want, |
