Abroad is probably your best bet. I know people who've taken a blocked phone to Pakistan where they've sold them to a shop(Some either start working, or some shops will change your IMEI *illegal in the UK* to make it work for a few rupees)

Considering that mobile phones in general are quite expensive over there, it meant that we could take used phones (fully working phones etc...), and sell them for a better price than we would get in the UK via eBay or a postal service company

Alternatively, stick it on eBay.com (not UK), exclude postage to the UK and post it out. Say it's faulty, but not blocked. eBay India may also be a good bet, considering the vast majority of blocked phones will work in S. Asia

This way your listings will stay intact, unless someone reports it.
