Anyone help with this one I have been downloading films via Isohunt and torrentz to play back through my tv only problem is most of the downloads don't go full screen there is a wide black band top and bottom. when I watch youtube on the tv it is full screen so it looks like its the downloading is the problem

Sounds like your downloading a widescreen movie, if you want full screen, look for 4:3 ratio

Or you can use this http://virtualdub.org/ to edit the film and remove the black bands.

do u burn them to disk to watch on tv or do u play it thru youre pc,if u play it using youre pc you could try using a different media player ,..vlc player or media player classic.youl be able to fill screen then maybe.

Bonghitt I play them from lapy via windows media player not got a dvd writer
I have tried TV resolution but still no good I think cupid stunt may have a point but I cant see where it says weather or not its a wide screen film Some I dwn load work fine but 90% are very narrow |

try vlc or media player classic home cinema,there both free to download,..if you use one of those players theres an option to fill screen .try it ive put links in for both .
